Radzik and Deane-Hughes v Environmental Protection Agency
On 27 March 2023, Radzik and Deane-Hughes challenged the EPA’s grant of an environmental permit to Exxon. The judge ruled the permit was unlawfully issued but declined to provide a remedy, prompting an appeal. In his judgment, he praised the applicants as public benefactors upholding the rule of law, directly rebuking the Attorney-General’s claims that they were “obstructionist.”
